graphic history

lately, I've been obsessed with the graphic history series by harvey pekar & friends . The Beats chronicles not just your usual run-of-the-mill popular heroes of the time, such as Jack Kerouac or Burroughs, but also focuses on the great, but not quite as popularized life of Kenneth Patchen or Philip Whalen, for example.

FSG Books is a solid publishing house that addresses some subversive subjects through the graphic novel format. awesome.

after cruising their site, I may have to purchase Was She Pretty? next. . .
